Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 5, 2026

Oranokai ("Oranokai," "we," "us," or "our") operates oranokai.com, an AI-powered product photography and video platform. This policy explains what information we collect when you use the service, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to everyone who visits the site, creates an account, or uses our generation tools.

If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use Oranokai. By creating an account or using the service, you accept the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Account information

When you sign up, we collect your email address and, if you sign in with Google, the basic profile information Google shares with us (name, email, avatar). Authentication is handled by Supabase, our database and identity provider — we never see or store your Google password.

1.2 Content you upload

To generate product photography or video, you upload images of your own products. We store these uploads, the prompts and settings you use, and the AI-generated results in your account gallery so you can view, re-download, or reuse them later.

Do not upload images you do not have the rights to use. You are responsible for the content you upload — see the Terms of Use for the full license and responsibility terms.

1.3 Payment information

Payments are processed by Razorpay, our third-party payment gateway. Oranokai never sees or stores your full card number, CVV, or bank credentials — Razorpay handles that directly and shares only what we need to confirm a payment succeeded (an order ID, amount, and status).

1.4 Usage and technical data

We automatically log things like: which pages you visit, which AI models you use, how many credits you spend, your IP address, browser and device type, and approximate location (used only to decide whether to show INR or USD pricing — see Section 6). This helps us run the service, prevent abuse of free-tier limits, and understand what to improve.

1.5 Cookies

We use cookies for authentication (keeping you signed in), essential site function, and analytics. See our Cookie Policy for the full list.

2. How We Use Your Data

3. AI Processing and Third-Party Sub-Processors

This is the part that matters most for an AI product like ours, so we're explicit about it: when you generate an image or video, the product photo you uploaded and your prompt/settings are sent to the third-party AI provider that powers the model you selected, so it can produce your result. Depending on which model you choose, this may include:

Each of these providers processes the image/prompt only to generate your requested output and is bound by its own privacy policy and data handling terms, which we encourage you to review if you have specific concerns. We select providers based on reasonable data-handling practices, but we do not control their infrastructure directly. Because several of these providers are based outside India, using Oranokai means your uploaded content may be processed on servers in the United States or elsewhere — see Section 8.

We do not sell your uploaded images or generated content to any third party, and we do not permit AI providers to use your content to train their models beyond what is necessary to generate your immediate result, except where a provider's own terms state otherwise (in which case that provider's policy governs, not ours).

4. How We Share Your Data

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with:

5. Data Retention

We keep your account information, uploaded images, and generated content for as long as your account is active, so your gallery stays available to you. If you want your account and associated data deleted, contact us at hello@oranokai.com and we will delete it, except where we are required to retain limited records (such as payment records) for legal, tax, or accounting purposes.

6. International Data Transfers

Oranokai is operated with India as its primary market, and pricing is displayed in INR by default. Because several of our AI sub-processors and infrastructure providers are based outside India (including the United States), your data — including uploaded images — may be transferred to and processed in countries with different data protection laws than your own. We take reasonable steps to work only with providers that maintain appropriate safeguards.

7. Data Security

We use SSL/TLS encryption in transit, Cloudflare DDoS and bot protection, and access controls on our database (Supabase Row Level Security) to protect your data. No system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable, industry-standard measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure.

8. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@oranokai.com. We will respond within a reasonable time, and in any case within the timeframe required by applicable law.

9. Children's Privacy

Oranokai is not directed at, and not intended for use by, children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time as our service or legal obligations change. We will update the effective date at the top of this page when we do. Continued use of Oranokai after a change means you accept the updated policy.
